Future Science Success is Taking Shape in Today’s Classrooms
AMAA’s Avedisian School educational facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technical facilities. Considering the future with care, the benefactors, the Armenian Missionary Association, and the school management give special attention to the school laboratories (chemistry, physics, biology) to keep them updated.
In the 2014-2015 academic year, modern desks will be installed for students and teachers in the laboratories. Laboratory equipment, furniture, and sets for chemistry, physics, and biology, among other school subjects, will ensure good lab performance as scheduled in the elementary and high school educational programs.
Laboratory sets include user guides that come with instructions, descriptions and safety regulations, along with images for clarification and safety awareness in the laboratory.
Laboratory walls are clad with informative posters and the room is designed to be an environment that is appealing to students in order to capture their interest for lab work.
The students are offered a close look into the vast world of science, especially to spark their interest and motivate them to work at the laboratory and learn more.
It depends on us whether there will be another Mendeleev, Newton, Hambardzoumyan, Mergelyan, or any other prominent person among our students.
