SARINE KHACHIKIAN
With over 30 years of experience in educational leadership, consulting, and school restructuring, Sarine has worked in numerous projects interacting with various communities of different ethnic, religious and socio-economic backgrounds. Her work has taken her to Beirut, Akkar, Hassbaya, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah, to name a few.
Eight years into the teaching profession at the AGBU Garmirian School, at the age of 28, she has risen to be Principal in the institution that she had entered in a teaching position. Four years later, she moved on to become Principal of Elementary School at Rawdah High School for two academic years.
After a brief time working with SABIS as an Academic Quality Controller in the Private Public Partnership project with the Abu Dhabi Education Council in the UAE, she joined Rearden Educational in 2007 and a year after, was promoted to Head of Consulting and Professional Development Departments at Rearden.
From 2008 to 2020, she led transformative projects that revitalized schools under challenging circumstances and brought them financial sustainability, academic standards, and community outreach.
In 2024, she guided the accreditation process for Armenian Evangelical Central High School in Beirut, positioning it as the first Armenian institution in Lebanon to achieve international accreditation through the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
In her most recent role, Sarine was the Academic Dean of the Avedisian School in Armenia that is under the leadership of the Armenian Missionary Association of America.
Alongside her profession, Sarine is an active member in the Armenian community. From 2019 to 2025, she has been on the Jinishian Memorial Association’s Advisory Committee of Lebanon as a member and then the Vice Chairman.
She has served as a member of the AGBU Antranik Youth Association Central Committee from 2023 to 2025. She has also performed with the AYA Vahram Papazian Theater Group in Lebanon, from 1996 to 2008, mostly in leading female roles and has received the Pan-Armenian “Vahakn” best Armenian Actress award for the Year 2003, in Yerevan, Armenia.
