Այսօր՝ աշխատանքային օրվա ավարտին, ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարար Լևոն Մկրտչյանին հաճելի անակնկալ են մատուցել Avedisian School Ավետիսյան դպրոցի աշակերտները: Գիրք նվիրելու օրվա առիթով դպրոցի աշակերտության կողմից պատվիրակված 12-րդ դասարանի աշակերտուհի Միլենա Գալստյանը և 10-րդ դասարանի աշակերտ Զավեն Անտոնյանը, դպրոցի տնօրեն Մելանյա Գեղամյանի գլխավորությամբ, ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարար Լևոն Մկրտչյանին նվիրել են Ղևոնդ Ալիշանի «Այրարատ», իսկ փոխնախարար Մանուկ Մկրտչյանին «Կոմիտաս» գրքերը՝ փոխադարձաբար կրթության ոլորտի պատասխանատուներից նվեր ստանալով Գրիգոր Նարեկացու և Ներսես Շնորհալու գործերը: Աշակերտների հետ ունեցած կարճ զրույցի ընթացքում նախարար Լևոն Մկրտչյանը, շնորհակալություն հայտնելով գեղեցիկ անակնկալի համար, կարևորել է հասարակության մեջ, հատկապես երեխաների ու երիտասարդների շրջանում գիրք նվիրելու ավանդույթի արմատավորվումը: Նա երեխաներին հորդորել է լավ սովորել ու երբեք չհուսահատվել անհաջողություններից. «Կյանքը երբեք միայն հաջողություններից կամ էլ անհաջողություններից կազմված չէ, միշտ էլ անհաջողությանը փոխարինում է հաջողությունը և հակառակը, կարևորը՝ կյանքում չհուսահատվեք և առաջ գնաք ձեր ընտրած ազնիվ ճանապարհով»,-ասել է նախարար Լևոն Մկրտչյանը:
Նախարարը, օգտագործելով հանդիպման առիթը, հետաքրքրվել է, թե ինչպես են աշակերտներն ընդունում դպրոցում իրականացվող փոփոխությունները` մասնավորապես ավագ դպրոցի բեռնաթափման նախաձեռնությունը. «Շատ լավ, բայց ավելի շատ ուրախացել եմ, որ 4-րդ և 9-րդ դասարաններում վերականգնվել է թելադրություն, փոխադրություն գրելու պահանջը, քանի որ դրանց միջոցով կարողանում ես ներկայացնել քո ազատ մտածողության հնարավորությունը»,-ասել է Զավեն Անտոնյանը, ով, ի դեպ, նամակագրության 45-րդ միջազգային մրցույթի հատուկ մրցանակակիր է:

Today, at the end of the working day, the Avedisian schoolchildren pleasantly surprised the Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan. On the occasion of Book Gifting Day, the delegated students — Milena Galstyan (12th grade) and Zaven Antonyan, (10th grade) led by the Avedisian school principal Melanya Geghamyan, presented the Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan with a book “Ayrarat” by Ghevond Alishan, and the deputy minister Manuk Mkrtchyan with a book entitled “Komitas”. In response, the Avedisian School delegation got books as presents written by Grigor Narekatsi and Nerses Shnorhali. During the short conversation with the pupils, the minister Levon Mkrtchyan, thanking them for the nice surprise, highlighted the implantation of book gifting tradition in the society, especially among the children and the youth. He exhorted the children to study well and never get disappointed with failures. “Life is never comprised of merely success or failure, success always comes to replace failure and vice versa. The most significant thing is not to get discouraged in life and always go along the honest path chosen by yourselves,” said the minister.
Using the opportunity of the meeting, Levon Mkrtchyan inquired how the students liked the changes carried out especially at high schools — concerning the initiative of curricula unloading. “We find it cool, but mostly I’m glad that dictations and expositions have been restored in the 4th and 9th grades’ exams, for due to them you are able to represent your open-mindedness,” said Zaven Antonyan, who, by the way, has got the special prize of the 45th Letter Writing International Competition.
