Բաժանվեց շուրջ 800… էկոտոպրակ
Ավետիսյան դպրոցում յուրահատուկ ձևով ամփոփվեց բնապահպանությանը նվիրված միամսյակը:
Անցած «էկոշաբաթները» արգասաբեր էին էկոլոգիական աշխատանքների, մտահղացումների և ծրագրերի առումով, որոնցով, պարզվեց, անչափ հարուստ էին մեր աշակերտները՝ մեծից փոքր: Դրանցից մեկն էլ խանութներում պոլիէթիլենային տոպրակների փոխարինումն էր էկոլոգիապես անվնաս, սովորական կտորից տոպրակներով:
Դպրոցի տնօրեն տիկին Մ. Գեղամյանի այդ առաջարկին ուրախության կանչերով և ծափերով արձագանքեց ամբողջ դահլիճը: Գաղափարը կյանքի կոչվեց, կարելի է ասել, կայծակնային արագությամբ: Ընդամենը մի քանի օրում աշակերտների ուժերով հավաքվեց էկոլոգիապես անվնաս, հիմնականում երկրորդ կյանք ստացած դիմացկուն կտորներից կարված շուրջ 800 տոպրակ՝ «Ավետիսյան դպրոց» պատկերանիշով: Շատ ծնողներ, արձագանքելով այս գեղեցիկ նախաձեռնությանը, մեկի փոխարեն կարել և դպրոց էին ուղարկել մի քանի տոպրակ:
Իսկ չորեքշաբթի օրվա դասերից հետո ավետիսյանցիները հենց դպրոցից քայլարշավ արեցին դեպի Հարավ-Արևմտյան թաղամասի հանրախանութները: Նրանք այդ խանութների հաճախորդներին բաժանեցին էկոլոգիապես անվնաս տոպրակները, ինչպես նաև հիշեցրին, թե ինչպիսի չարիք են բնության և մարդկության համար պոլիէթիլենային տոպրակները:
Ուրախությամբ պետք է ասել, որ անծանոթ մարդիկ մեր աշակերտների բացատրությունները լսում էին հարգանքով և նրանց նվերն ընդունում շնորհակալությամբ:
The Eco Month Was Summed Up in Avedisian School
About 800 … eco-bags were distributed.
At Avedisian School the month devoted to environment protection was summed up in a unique way.
The past “eco-weeks” were fruitful in terms of ecological activities, ideas and programs, regarding which it turned out that our students, both of younger and older age, were very rich. One of the aforesaid activities was the exchange of plastic bags with eco-friendly bags made of ordinary fabrics in shops.
The whole audience at the school hall greeted that suggestion of the School Principal Mrs. M. Geghamyan with cheers and applauses. It can be noted that, this idea was brought to life at lightning speed. In just a few days about 800 eco-friendly bags, mainly made of upcycled solid textiles with the logo of Avedisian School, were gathered due to the students’ diligent efforts. Many parents, reacting to this beautiful initiative, made and sent to school not one but a few bags.
And after the classes on Wednesday, the Avedisian school students marched from the very school to the supermarkets in the South-West District. They distributed the eco-friendly bags among the customers of those supermarkets, as well as reminded them what disaster plastic bags are for nature and mankind.
We are glad to say that strangers listened to our students’ explanations with great respect and accepted their gifts with gratitude.
