Սպասված ու ցանկալի էին կրթօջախի այսօրվա հյուրերը: Ավետիսյան դպրոցի բարերարներ Էդվարդ և Փամելա Ավետիսյանները, հավատարիմ մնալով իրենց իսկ որոշմանը՝ Երևանում լինել դպրոցի հիմնադրման 20-ամյակի տարում, այս էլ ո՜րերորդ անգամ կտրեցին օվկիանոսը և ԱՀԱԸ Հայաստանի ներկայացուցչի տեղակալ Արեն Դեյիրմենջյանի ուղեկցությամբ այցելեցին դպրոց: Այստեղ բարերարները հանդիպեցին աշակերտական խորհրդի անդամների հետ, նրանց զրուցեցին ուսումնական ծրագրերի, առաջադիմության և, ընդհանրապես, դպրոցական առօրյայի ու հոգսերի շուրջ: Այնուհետև երեխաները թանկագին հյուրերին ցույց տվեցին կրթօջախի 20-ամյա հոբելյանի կապակցությամբ նրա դրոշմանիշի՝ լոգոտիպի պատկերի իրենց լրամշակումները: Էդվարդ Ավետիսյանը ի սրտե գոհունակություն հայտնեց ստեղծագործ մտքերի և մտահղացումների համար և հրաժեշտից առաջ հայրաբար ասաց.
— Այս դպրոցը ո՛չ իմն է, ո՛չ տիկին Փամելայինը, ո՛չ էլ մի ուրիշինը: Սա ձե՛ր դպրոցն է, զավակնե՛րս, վայելե՛ք այն, ծաղկեցրե՛ք և լա՛վ սովորեք: Այդպիսով դուք մեր հայրենիքը կպահեք ազատ, բարգավաճ ու երջանիկ:
This Is Your School, My Children!
Today’s guests of the school were very much welcomed. Faithful to their own decision to be in Yerevan in the year of the 20-th anniversary of the school’s establishment, the benefactors of Avedisian School Mr. Edward and Mrs. Pamela Avedisian, crossed the ocean again accompanied by AMAA Armenia Deputy Representative Aren Deyirmenjian and visited the school. Here the benefactors had a meeting with the members of the school’s student council and talked about the academic programs and progress and the school’s current issues and concerns in general. Then the children showed the dear guests their modifications of the school’s logo image designed on the occasion of its 20-th anniversary. Mr. Edward Avedisian expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the creative thoughts and ideas and said like a father before leaving:
— This school is neither mine nor Mrs. Pamela’s, nor someone else’s. This is your school, my children. Enjoy it, prosper it and study well. Thus you will keep our homeland free, prosperous and happy.
